Game genre and premise

Legend of Aether is a 2D side-scrolling roguelike-autobattler hybrid. In the game, you assemble a lineup of characters with different synergies and equipment to face challenging encounters as you explore the Aether World. You engage in combat while managing your team's composition and items.

Combat mechanics

Combat occurs in a side-scrolling view where you control your characters as they automatically battle against various foes. Each character can equip up to four pieces of equipment or synergy-change items, allowing you to customize their strengths, weaknesses, and abilities. Equipment provides stat bonuses and unique passive effects that can affect gameplay.
