Leeway: Lightkeeper is a first-person, story-driven watchkeeping game for PC. You play Aiden, taking shifts at Cape Watch Station at the mouth of the Leeway Strait. Ships ask for passage from outside your window, and you decide whether to let them through by checking their papers against what you can see and verify.

Checking ships and papers

Compare each ship’s name, flag and call sign on its Certificate of Identity with the vessel in your binoculars. Check the bill of lading against its cargo, then use the government computer to look up the ship’s registry and mark suspicious lines in red pen. Approving a ship sends it through. Rejecting one means writing down a reason for every paper. A ship you turn away may call on the radio to ask why.
