Last Summer

A Brief Encounter with Last Summer

Last Summer is a walking simulator on PC that transports players to a reflective Japanese summer. The game revolves around a young girl navigating her way home from school. While the gameplay is simple, focusing solely on walking, the experience is evocative, marked by an emotional journey conveyed through visuals and environmental sounds rather than dialogue or music.

Emphasizing Nostalgia in Gameplay

The gameplay of Last Summer plays out over approximately an hour, during which players traverse beautifully crafted environments. Each step reveals detailed imagery that captures the essence of a quiet summer day. The lack of written words or musical scores fosters a nostalgic atmosphere, allowing players to immerse themselves in their memories and personal experiences tied to similar seasons.
