Last Gambit

Build an army

Last Gambit is a chess strategy game for PC where you assemble your own army instead of starting with the usual set of pieces. You begin with a handful and add to your roster by beating Story bosses, earning trophies, meeting challenge conditions, and experimenting in the Laboratory. There are 27 pieces to discover, including the Unicorn, Griffon, Phoenix, and Void Queen, which exits one edge of the board and returns through the other.

You choose where to deploy your pieces. During a fight, you can fuse two pieces, clone one, or evolve pawns. Catapults and Trebuchets can hurl your own pieces, while the Phoenix returns after falling.
