Game premise and mechanics

Last Drop Tavern is a psychological roguelite that focuses on gambling through a unique mechanic involving a shared glass of liquid. Players arrive at the bar each night with a coin, but the coins hold no monetary value. Instead, they symbolize memories and are used to challenge death in a duel. During each duel, players take turns dropping coins and various objects into the glass, causing the level of liquid to rise. The objective is to avoid causing the glass to overflow, which results in losing the round and being banned from the bar.

Duels and strategies

Each duel lasts a few minutes and creates a tense atmosphere, requiring players to read the glass's meniscus and the liquid's surface tension to gauge how close they are to losing. There is no traditional interface, such as health bars or floating percentage indicators; all information is conveyed through the physical state of the glass. Players also acquire and mint new coins with unique effects that can be combined for various strategic advantages during matches against other characters.
