Kung-Fu Space Fighters

Game premise and mechanics

Kung-Fu Space Fighters is a roguelike deckbuilder where players build a deck of cards representing martial artists from Earth competing against alien warriors in a cosmic tournament. Players do not manually control combat, which takes place automatically. Instead, they focus on constructing strategies, managing card costs, collecting artifacts, and preparing their fighters before battles.

Combat structure

Battles utilize a slot-based auto-battle system. Each turn, cards are drawn and placed into three action slots: Slot 1 for cheap, fast actions, Slot 2 for mid-cost cards, and Slot 3 for powerful moves. If a card fits the cost of its designated slot, it activates. If the card is too expensive, it will not play. Success in combat relies on creating a well-designed deck that effectively utilizes these slots, where even a powerful card can be rendered useless if it does not appear in the right slot.
