Samurai expeditions

KAGERO is a third-person action game for PC, set in a samurai fantasy world. You head out on expeditions to fight enemy soldiers, capture their camps and build up your character as the fighting continues. Defeated enemies can become shadows that join your side, bringing their appearance and fighting style with them.

Soldiers, spearmen and heavy fighters can all be recruited. A new shadow joins the battle as soon as you capture it, and at the end of an expedition you can keep a recruit for future runs. You can take up to three trained shadows with you when setting out again, and capture more during an expedition.
