Game premise and main objectives

JOB is a corporate mystery game set in a bleak and surreal world where you play as a contractor, referred to as the "CONTRACTOR." You sign a contract to work for the "COMPANY" for a set period of three years, also known as "THE TERM." Your goal is to escape poverty by earning a currency called 'e' during your work term. Any remaining balance of 'e' at the end of your Term is yours to keep.

Gameplay mechanics

In the game, you engage with various applications referred to as "SPECIAL LABORS." These include mechanics reminiscent of incremental or idle games, rogue-lite adventures, and puzzles designed like escape rooms. As you progress through your tasks, you will learn about the COMPANY and the true nature of your work environment.
