Running the shop

旧物小铺 is a PC shop-management game set in 1980. After your father dies, you take over his vintage shop with three hundred yuan, money repaid by his former colleague Old Chen. You stock the shelves and sell old-fashioned goods, from ice lollies and enamel mugs to dual-cassette recorders.

Each day has three tasks: restock, greet customers, and close the shop. You move goods from storage compartments under the counter to the display, then ring a bell to open. Customers don’t arrive on their own: ringing the bell calls the next one over, so you decide when to invite them. Once the shop is closed, you tally earnings, spending, and the money left.
