Jane Friday: After Hours is a short horror game for PC set in Port-City in 1997. You play Riley Cross, starting an overnight security shift in the Brannigan Building, a place that combines a diner, an arcade and an abandoned precinct annex. You have six hours until dawn, six cameras to watch and one flashlight.

The game is a story you read and listen to rather than fight through. A cassette in a second-floor evidence drawer is labeled “JF - CASE 7 - DO NOT FILE.” It belongs to Detective Jane Friday, who has been investigating Port-City’s darkest secret since 1982. She stopped recording somewhere in the building.
