Cold-weather survival

IVORY is a first-person survival and exploration game for PC, set on a far-flung Alaskan island. You play a man heading there to poach walrus tusks for money. The story unfolds through lore you find and real-time cinematic sequences, following a linear path marked by blue diamond waypoints. A playthrough takes 2 to 3 hours.

Managing the cold

Cold is the main danger. Each area affects your coldness at a different rate: toasty places, such as thermal vents and some buildings, lower it; cool areas leave it unchanged; and chilly, cold, and frigid areas raise it faster and faster. The ocean is always frigid. Hand-warmers found around the map also lower your coldness. If it rises too far, your health starts to fall.
