Daily tasks

As a clerk, each day begins with a new set of applicants presenting their request forms and identity cards at your window. You must cross-check these documents against the current regulations, which can shift overnight. This requires careful reading and interpretation of rule changes that can invalidate previously acceptable files. Your desk is equipped with various inspection tools, like a magnifier and ultraviolet lamp, to aid in your assessments.
