ILLICIT

First-person chemistry simulation

ILLICIT is a first-person chemistry simulation for PC set in a lab in the Puerto Salitre industrial estate. Your uncle, Julián Ferrer, has died, leaving you his lab, recipe sheets, regular clients and a debt of €80,000. You make and deliver compounds to pay it off before the bank takes the machines, while looking into what happened to Julián.

Making each order

You operate the lab equipment with the mouse, carrying out each recipe by hand. You pour, weigh, heat, stir, filter, centrifuge, distill and crystallize; the order, amount, temperature and timing all affect the result. Purity determines payment, and errors can cause foam, fires, toxic gas or broken glass.
