Terminal-based incremental game

Idle Process is a PC incremental game played entirely through typed commands in a terminal window. You play as a machine under contract, spawning autonomous agents to do work on your behalf.

Agents and research

Agents perform work and create tokens. You spend those tokens to research improvements to your process, then use those improvements as you continue the work. The game’s loop centers on assigning work to agents and putting the tokens they generate toward research.
