A fantasy RPG across five nations

Hyogoslavia Chronicles is a fantasy RPG set in a medieval European-style world divided into five nations inspired by the old provinces of Japan’s Hyogo Prefecture: Settsu, Harima, Tamba, Tajima and Awaji. You play as Tamon, the hesitant second prince of Settsu, who is sent on a journey that will decide his country’s fate. Companions he meets in each nation join him as the story of the five nations unfolds.

Hyogo’s real geography and regional identities inform the setting. The world map is shaped like the prefecture, and real towns and landmarks appear with fantasy changes. The premise takes inspiration from the joke that Hyogo is like “Hyogoslavia,” five places with their own character under one flag.
