Hoof Trimmer Simulator

Hoof trimming on PC

Hoof Trimmer Simulator is a PC simulation about caring for cows with sore or damaged hooves. You bring each cow into a chute, clean and trim the hoof, locate the problem and treat it so the cow can walk away sound.

Tools and treatment

You scrape crust from the sole, pare the hoof with a knife and use nippers to cut back an overgrown toe. The hoof is fully carvable in 3D, with horn shavings coming away as you work. Hoof testers help locate a sore spot: the cow flinches when you squeeze it. For an abscess, you release the pressure, follow the black line and open it.
