Digging for the Motherlode

Hole Lotta Loot is a PC digging game for solo play or with up to five friends. You start with bare hands on an old field where a mining company once searched for the Motherlode, then dig down, collect valuables and sell them to fund better equipment. Pick from six diggers: Farmer, Miner, Granny, Cowboy, Explorer or Mole.

You can dig a narrow shaft straight down or make a hole in any shape. Different tools break up the ground in different ways, and each layer has its own material, from sticky clay and gravel to coal dust, crystal, embers and frost. Tools work best on their intended layer, struggle in the next and can't dig the one after that, so reaching deeper ground means saving for an upgrade.
