Poker-hand tower defense

Holde'm Back is a single-player roguelike tower defense game set in a casino whose House has erased its own staff. Instead of placing towers, you deal poker hands to summon the buried fighters as your crew, then defend eight floors of the casino as its rules change.

You draw five cards and can replace one. The hand you make determines which fighters you can summon: pairs bring cheaper muscle, straights bring specialists, and rarer hands call fighters the House buried deeper. Kills earn mana for the next hand, and each summon costs more than the last. You can merge two matching fighters into one that hits harder, then assign your crew to five chairs at the table. A character's ability changes with their seat.
