Holding the extractor

Hivetide is an incremental tower defense game for PC. Each stage is a shift at an extraction rig: hold off the insects until the rig can be pulled out, then spend the biomass you harvested before heading back down.

The insects flow toward the extractor rather than following a fixed path. They fill tunnels, and when a corridor gets crowded, those behind search for another route. Thousands can appear at once, so you’re deciding where to funnel the horde and what weapons to place there.
