Hexagonal tunnel running

Hexshroom is a PC rhythm runner about a tiny mushroom traveling through glowing hexagonal tunnels to recover the spores that keep its village alive. The floor, walls and ceiling are all running surfaces. Flick in one of six directions to jump straight to another face, and keep moving as the tunnel spins around you.

Each level follows the shape of its EDM track. A wide opening can narrow to one path during a build-up, then burst open on the drop. Later levels put gaps in the lane on the beat, so you need to time your jump with the music. Spores also land on the beat; collecting them adds to the track.
