What the game is

Hexcavate is a puzzle game for PC where you manipulate hexagonal tiles on floating islands to direct bombs and carts. The primary goal is to reroute these elements to break through boulders, allowing the cart to progress deeper into the game’s levels across thirty-three islands.

Puzzle mechanics

You tap a tile to rotate it sixty degrees, changing the path that grooves follow. Bombs roll out from a spawner pad and navigate through these grooves to collide with boulders made of gold and blasting powder. You must plan your tile rotations to ensure the cart can successfully roll into the next shaft, causing the current island to drop away and revealing the next one.
