Game premise and mechanics

Hex Reverse is a strategic territory-control card battle game that combines elements of roguelike deckbuilding. Players engage in turn-based battles on a hexagonal grid with a total of 19 hexagonal spaces. Each player places cards that have six distinct values corresponding to each edge. When a card is placed next to an opponent's card, the values on the touching edges are compared, and if one is higher, the opponent's card flips to the player's side, allowing for control of the board.

Turn-based battles

Battles in the game consist of turns where players must strategically position their cards to gain an advantage. Each card has its strengths, and the positioning directly impacts the ongoing battle for territory. Successful tactics require careful planning and an understanding of both your cards and your opponent's layout.
