Haunted Schoolbag

A school-night deduction game

Haunted Schoolbag is a PC deduction game set at Hoshimi Academy during a blackout that wakes the school’s Seven Mysteries once every ten years. You play as members of the Occult Research Club, trying to seal apparitions using stationery and other objects in a schoolbag you can’t see inside.

Blind grabs

Each turn, you reach for an item by touching one of its hilt cells. Grab a hilt and you pull out and use the entire item for free. Grab a blade and you get cut, losing courage and HP. If you miss, the revealed cell shows how many hilts and blades are nearby: yellow numbers count hilts, red numbers count blades. The bag reshuffles every turn, so clues from one reach don’t leave its contents in the same arrangement for the next.
