Loop and battles

HACHIKOMA: Underground Stadium No. 8 is a PC anomaly-spotting game built around repeated trips through an underground passage and spinning-top battles. You decide whether each loop looks normal. If nothing’s wrong, you battle Hayate at the street stadium; winners can pass through the ticket gate. If something is off, turn around and retrace your steps. Correct calls raise the exit number, while mistakes send it back to 0. Reach Exit 8 to face Mr. Hachiman, a salaryman who appears on every loop.

Battles use three launcher types: ripcord, string and trigger, each with its own launch minigame. After releasing your top on “LET IT LOOP!”, you steer it into your rival and use its spirit technique. You can assemble a top from a bit-chip, attack ring, weight disk and base, choose its spin direction, then customize it with paint and stickers. If you spot an anomaly during a battle, shout “ANOMALY!” to fill your spirit gauge when you’re right.
