Grimoire Paradox

A spell gone wrong

Grimoire Paradox is a point-and-click comedy adventure for PC. On her sixteenth birthday, Elia inherits her late grandmother’s bookshop, a talking black cat and a spellbook. Her first spell pulls Morgana, an ancient witch, out of the afterlife and into Elia’s head. To separate them, Elia needs to find nine ingredients for a Parting Spell before dawn. If she misses the deadline, the two souls will remain in one body forever.

Thornwick’s residents

The search takes Elia through Thornwick, a town where monsters have everyday problems. A vampire dentist is afraid of the dark, a dream doctor has nightmares, and a heartbroken yeti runs an ice-cream parlour where everything keeps melting. Other stops include a snake-haired salon, a record label run by Death and the gates of the underworld. The ingredients are tied to the people Elia meets, including a fang, a tear, a horn and something called Kevin.
