Each day’s weather affects foot traffic and what customers want. You might serve hot sandwiches on a rainy evening or ice cream bowls on a hot afternoon. Use the forecast to buy ingredients in bulk after a shift. If you run short during a rush, online delivery costs extra; if you buy too much, perishables spoil at closing and cut into profits.
