Golden Pan

Prospecting on the creek

Golden Pan is a slow-paced prospecting game for PC. You work a creek with a pan, washing sand and gravel until gold or gemstones remain. There’s no timer, health bar, or way to lose. Each day starts with a trip to the water, and the main work is hands-on: fill the pan, swirl it, tip out water, and thin the material layer by layer.

Finds range from gold sand grains and coarse grains to small nuggets and rare larger nuggets. You can also pan for quartz, garnet, zircon, topaz, spinel, and sapphire. Your Finds Journal records each find and your best weight, and it sometimes turns up a curiosity with its own story.
