Gold Master: A Game Company Tycoon is a PC business simulation about running a game studio. You choose its name, logo, color, philosophy and location, then begin in 1980 or choose a starting point up to 2010. You can start alone or with a small team. Time advances one week at a time, when you choose to start the next week.

Making and selling games

You decide what to build across 32 genres and seven platforms, including PC, consoles, mobile, VR and cloud. During development, you balance gameplay, graphics, technology, audio, story and AI. You also choose how to sell each game: as a one-time purchase, free-to-play or a subscription, with options such as editions, pre-orders, Early Access and regional releases.
