Godcore

Game concept and mechanics

Godcore is a real-time strategy game where players command a warband to protect a living crystal known as the Godcore. Set in a minimalist world filled with runes and crystals, you face a corrupted heart that is guarded by stone wards. Your objective is to strategize and navigate lanes between the Godcore and the corrupted heart, using the troops you command, the Einherjar, who fight, mend, and shield during the battle.

Rune system

The game includes a branching rune skill tree with three distinct paths: the Godcore, the Einherjar, and the Towers. Each path contains unique abilities and ultimates that can be unlocked as you progress. You earn crystals by defeating enemies, which can be spent to choose and enhance runes, allowing for tactical customization and adaptation of your strategy during play.
