Game premise and mechanics

Get To Orbit is a score-chaser based on real orbital mechanics. Players take on missions where they must achieve specific orbits with fuel constraints. You launch a spacecraft, pitch over, and let gravity guide your flight while managing your trajectory to reach defined orbital targets. Each mission requires executing a series of maneuvers to achieve and maintain a specified orbit, emphasizing precision over height.

Missions and scoring

The game consists of ten contracts, each with unique orbital challenges that demand accuracy in flight. Players are scored out of 1000 points on each mission, with points awarded for hitting the center of a target band, managing fuel consumption against a physics-derived par, and completing the mission without unnecessary laps. There are three levels of achievement: bronze, silver, and gold stars. Additionally, the game includes a leaderboard for each mission, allowing players to compare scores.
