Frostmason

Cold War monster hunting

Frostmason is a PC monster-hunting game set during the Cold War. You play as a scientist recruited for a secret operation called Project Frostmason, hunting agile monsters across an open-world map.

Weapons and research

You hunt with a revolver and a tool called the Radiation Flash. After collecting monster parts, you take them to your laboratory and attach them to a harness until you have a full specimen. Research then depends on the monster’s current state and involves answering questions.
