Fronts of Steel

Eastern Front command

Fronts of Steel is a single-player, real-time operational-level wargame for PC, set on the Eastern Front of World War II. You choose the German or Soviet side and command division-level forces from a staff map built from real geographic data. The game has pause and speed controls, so you can stop to issue orders and then watch forces carry them out.

Plans and deployments

Draw plans directly on the map: defensive lines for deployments, attack lines for breakthroughs, withdrawal lines for retreats, and encirclement rings for surrounding enemy forces. Assign forces to plans and adjust deployments as the situation changes. You can also plan routes for forces deep behind enemy lines, deciding whether they should keep advancing or withdraw.
