Forgotten Tactics

Claiming the crown

Forgotten Tactics is a single-player strategy game for PC about fighting to reunite a fallen kingdom. You start with one county, one company of soldiers and a claim to the throne that other rulers dismiss. Seventeen great houses and smaller lords control the continent’s 71 counties, and the throne lies at its center. To reach it, you’ll have to deal with the neighbors between you and the crown.

Rival houses and diplomacy

Each lord tracks friends and grudges. Houses declare war, join forces against a ruler who grows too powerful, seek truces when they’re losing, and abandon allies when the price is right. You can negotiate truces, tribute, trade roads and vassalage, making offers and responding to counter-offers.
