Forest Quest 88

A night in the forest

Forest Quest 88 is a branching text adventure for PC about waking up in a forest at night and trying to get home so you can sleep. Each run takes a different route through a web of situations, strange places, items, and encounters. The goal is simple; getting there is not.

Choices and typed replies

At each turn, you get five suggested reactions: weird, funny, normal, boring, and obviously mistaken. Choose one with a click or number key, or type your own response. The game interprets what you mean and continues from there, so you aren’t limited to the listed options.
