For Some Water

Water ration checkpoint

For Some Water is a PC game set in 1997 in the Democratic Republic of Barbunya, where a drought has entered its third year and the government distributes water through ration cards. You work at a checkpoint, deciding who receives water and how much.

You check documents against government records, apply quotas, issue ration cards and stamp them. A mismatch, missing paperwork or request for more than the allotted share puts a decision in your hands. Going above the quota requires a valid justification, and failing to provide one brings a penalty.
