Game premise and mechanics

Folding: Paper Puzzle is an origami puzzle game where you fold a colored sheet of paper to create specific patterns. You manipulate a floating sheet of paper while looking down at a wooden desk. The objective is to fold the paper into a 4×4 square, achieving a black front and a white back. You use two mouse gestures: left-click and drag to draw a fold line, and right-click and drag to rotate the paper.

The game features realistic origami physics. Each fold adheres to the principles of traditional origami, meaning that any fold that would result in self-intersection is not allowed. This encourages careful planning and execution when making folds. The paper behaves according to its thickness, with layers stacking and creases forming accurately, giving the experience an authentic paper-like feel.
