Story and setting

FLS: Fleeting Light and Shadows is a vertical-scrolling 3D space shoot ’em up set in a post-apocalyptic human world. You play EOX-375, a specially modified robot, fighting through near-endless battles as the story looks back on a golden age and the events that led to humanity’s collapse. The central conflict is a quest for revenge against the one responsible for what happened.

The game uses cinematic, film-editing-style presentation and real-time in-engine rendering to tell a story about people who rise against fate. As EOX-375, you’re cast as a storyteller moving through changes in the world, with the aim of destroying the threat to humanity and forging a new ending.
