Extraction defense

FLAKRIG is a 2D retro sci-fi extraction tower defense game for PC. You drop onto hostile planets, defend a drill from swarms of flying alien insects, and extract high-value resources before the bugs overrun your position. Destroying every insect isn't the goal: the drill has to stay intact long enough for you to get out.

Runs combine preparation with a timed defense. Before landing, you buy, position, and upgrade turrets and choose emergency ordnance, all within an operational budget. Once the swarm attacks, you need to keep the drill protected while deciding when to use your available firepower and support.
