Fishing the Unknown

Fishing and exploration

Fishing the Unknown is a single-player fishing and exploration game for PC, set in a pixel-art ocean. You play as a young seafarer, taking a small boat away from familiar shores to fish, visit islands and record your catches. The waters range from bright shallows to the open sea, with changing light, weather and tides to pay attention to as you choose where to cast.

Working the reel

Before fishing, choose a rod, reel, line and lure. After casting toward a spot, hold to reel in a hooked fish and release to ease the load. Fish make runs and turns as you bring them closer. Small catches are easier to handle, while stronger fish require patience and attention to their movements.
