Ferrite Runner

Ward Nine

Ferrite Runner is a mouse-only extraction RPG for PC set in Ward Nine, a flooded district sealed by Helion Consolidated. Eleven years after the hatches were welded shut, something inside is still drawing power. You play an unlicensed courier sent to investigate, with Wren monitoring your vitals by radio and Juno supplying the underground outposts. Helion director Silas Krove considers you a trespasser.

Combat and energy

Attacking, defending and fleeing all use energy, which regenerates in real time. Spend it all on damage and you may have none left to escape. Shields are strongest when activated, then weaken as they run down, so timing a defence matters. You choose targets and manage distance while using guns, melee weapons, reusable skills or grenades. Optional auto-combat uses your enabled skills and attacks while you manage the fight.
