Faultfinder

Unraveling Mystery in Faultfinder

Faultfinder for PC is a gripping deduction game that places players in the shoes of a detective trying to uncover the truth behind a fatal error. In a world where programs can spell life or death, your primary task is to analyze a malfunctioning rune-tape system that tragically killed its engineer. This narrative-driven puzzle invites you to trace the lines of code, reconstructing the events leading to the disaster.

Unique Mechanics of Code Analysis

Unlike traditional programming games, Faultfinder employs a debugger as your primary tool instead of requiring you to write any code yourself. Every case presents itself through three windows: the annotated listing of the code, the machine's live status, and the city’s observations. This setup allows you to pinpoint anomalies, such as pressure readings and fluctuating door states, creating an investigative atmosphere charged with tension.
