FADE^2: A Deeply Narrative Action Journey

In FADE^2, players are plunged into an evocative world where the air is thick with melancholy. As a prototype of the upcoming title Nientum - Opus ZERO, this 2D action game tells a haunting story woven into its mechanics. Players navigate through a desolate environment that tells of forgotten dreams and a relentless quest for redemption. The atmosphere is palpable, with every interaction echoing the desires of the lost souls within.

The Story Behind the Ashen World

The narrative unfolds in a cemetery blanketed by snow, creating a stark contrast between the ashen landscape and the blue wish that is slowly wilting away. Players step into the shoes of the reanimated, compelled to uncover their fate while searching for meaning in their existence. The lore is intricately tied to the emotional power of music, which serves as a guiding force throughout the game. Will the melodies help the lost find their path to redemption, or lead them further into despair?
