Spell-grid defense

EverArcane is a PC spell-building game about a young mage facing waves of monsters at the edge of the world. You arrange spells in a 3×3 grid rather than aiming or clicking to attack. The spells cast one by one on each cycle, striking monsters that pour in from the right side of the screen.

Where you place spells matters. Neighbors can empower one another: a fire bolt beside a wind gust burns hotter, while an ice lance can set up an earth strike. The order of casting and the spells sharing each slot affect how the grid attacks.
