Evard The Hermit: Through Fears

Unraveling Fears in Evard The Hermit: Through Fears

Evard The Hermit: Through Fears blends rich narrative elements with action-adventure gameplay in a haunting Metroidvania style. Set in a post-war medieval world, players take on the role of Evard, a character burdened by the fears of others. This unique ability comes at a cost, as it distorts his own psyche, leaving him vulnerable to anxiety and phobias. Players will guide Evard on an intense journey of self-discovery while challenging the darkness around them.

Confronting Inner Demons and Fears

The core mechanics revolve around Evard’s capability to absorb fears from those he encounters. However, each encounter adds to his own turbulent mind. Encountering fears means confronting complex emotions, forcing players to navigate through Evard's growing unease. Flashbacks provide pivotal insights into Evard's origins, adding layers to a narrative that grips from the outset. Overcoming his own phobias becomes essential to moving forward in the game.
