ERROR: Me, Cyber Guys, and Weird Block Battles is a strategy game for PC that combines block placement combat, roguelite module building, and elements of interactive romance. The premise unfolds when a corrupted file is opened, leading to a fragmented network of isolated permission domains. You take on the role of a new challenger, motivated to delve deeper into the system's layers, confronting various personality instances to gain control over the permissions they guard.

Combat mechanics

Battles in the game take place on an 8x8 grid. Each turn provides you with three data blocks of different shapes that you can place on the board. Completing a full row or column triggers a “Compile” and clears it. The goal is not merely to achieve high scores; instead, players must strategically plan their placements to break down the defensive structures of the personality instances, which restrict access to other permissions. As the game progresses, players must manage limited board space and make tactical decisions to overcome obstacles while triggering chain reactions with their actions.
