Ensō: The Ink Spirit

Ink-circle combat

Ensō: The Ink Spirit is a PC action game about Sumi, a drop of ink with a brush for a tail. You move around yokai, leaving a wet ink stroke behind, then close it into a circle to seal them. Each circle is judged as rough, fine or a perfect ensō. A perfect circle rings the temple bell, triples your score and can break even the toughest spirits.

Ink dries, and hazards such as paper cranes, lantern fire, crows and lightning can cut off a stroke. You can dash through danger, and nothing can touch Sumi mid-flick. Each encounter is built around drawing a complete circle while avoiding interruptions.
