Emerald Blood: Songs of the Ancients

Archaeology and the past

Emerald Blood: Songs of the Ancients is a cinematic third-person RPG for PC about Ailbhe O’Sullivan, a modern archaeologist whose work near the Hill of Tara draws her into an older Ireland. There, myth and memory are part of the world she has to investigate. As Ailbhe, you examine places and artefacts using your knowledge of history, language and folklore, while trying to understand why she has been called into the past.

The setting draws on Ireland around 1000 AD, with real landscapes and history alongside mythology and original stories. Tara, rivers, ancient routes and sacred places connect the world to Ireland’s landscape and cultural memory.
