Profit and Pollution: The Mechanics of EcoMoguls

In EcoMoguls, a strategy card game for PC, players navigate the tumultuous waters of profit, climate damage, and public perception. Rather than striving for environmental purity, the goal is to maintain profitability while minimizing personal backlash. Each round involves drafting projects and events that not only bolster your monetary gains but also contribute to local Climate Damage, making it a test of skill and moral abstraction.

Strategic Card Drafting in Each Round

Every round invites players to draft four cards from a rotating hand. These cards shape your immediate strategy and influence your tableau focused on profit and management of Climate Damage. Players balance the tension between advancing their corporate interests and avoiding the excessive buildup of backlash. The tactical choices made here set the stage for how your empire influences and reacts to the shared climate system among all players.
