Dukkha Overflow

Top-down combat

Dukkha Overflow is a tactical top-down shooter for PC set in the Samsara, a combat simulation where the dead are forced to fight. A Custodian has hijacked your soul, and you fight to purge your sins or sink further into chaos. Combat is the way forward: you use elemental weapons and EMP projectiles against enemies in arenas shaped by physics and the environment.

Elemental combat follows a rock-paper-scissors system, so weapon choice and the surroundings matter. The game also tracks morality, rewarding or penalizing your actions. Its comms system lets you make temporary alliances mid-match, then turn on those allies if the loot is worth it.
