Salvage work

Dock 7 is a PC shipbreaking game set at a small salvage station where you live with a cat. You choose a wreck from the contract board, take your Work Pod out to it, and cut it apart for salvage. There are no timers, debt payments, or game over, and the Work Pod can’t be destroyed.

You cut one layer at a time with a Laser. It melts through the layer you’re aiming at, so a plate you cut all the way around breaks free without damaging what’s underneath. Hull plating gives way to wiring and machinery, then to rooms where someone once lived.
